Support Group
We have a support group on the last Saturday of each month for people who have suffered a brain injuries . Your partners, family members and carers are also welcome. Please ring 07948 446573 for more details. Our meeting provides peer support, some rehabilitation activities and a chance to relax together. You would be very welcome.

The group members also arrange a number of social events throughout the year. Come and help us plan some!

Well Christmas 2009 started in the best possible way - volunteer Sally kindly brought a vast selection of info for shows on in our region over the Christmas period to our November Headway Group meeting. We all voted to go to a cheery Christmas Show called "That'll be the day" at the Salisbury City Hall as a special December treat.
Well - we all managed to arrive on time and volunteers Janet and Hannah kindly directed us group members, our carers, family and friends towards refreshments; all drinks were ordered and then places were taken, with an excellent view of the stage being enjoyed by all.
Where can we start? It was a very enjoyable, lively, full action, fast paced, fun show - really it was a very well put together, total all round fun, entertainment show. Unfortunately, for some of us 'ages' could not be hidden - every word of the briliantly put together Beatles montage for example we were foot tapping, hand jiving to "Cliff ", reggae moves to "Boney M" and the Christmas songs got us all swaying together - dreaming of a white Christmas!!! Ho ho ho - if only we knew! But covering all the decades with the Christmas theme really did mean something for everyone.
It really is something to mark for the diary for next year and hopefully even more of the group members and friends will be able to join in as our Headway group grows from strength to strength
