Hats 4 Headway Quiz Night, Supported by 3PB Barristers

Once a year at the end of Action for Brain Injury (ABI) Week, our supporters come together to help us improve life after brain injury, by donning their wackiest hats.  All we asked you to do to be a part of it this year is wear your hat with pride… oh, and answer a few quiz questions!

We were thrilled to welcome teams from Irwin Mitchell, Jane James & Associates, Novum Law, Trethowans, Fawcetts, Enable Law, Barcan & Kirby LLP, Harley Street Pagination, and 3PB Barristers; as you can imagine the competition was on!

Those in attendance will recall the announcement of the winning team was quite a tense affair!  However, after the recounting of the music round marks there was no change to the leaderboard…

Congratulations to IM Quarantined from Irwin Mitchell taking first place and winning the team prize of a crate of wine, kindly donated by Novum Law.

Harley Street Pagination came in a close second, with The Very Enable Quizzers, of Enable Law, coming in third. In fact, the top 4 teams were separated by only 7 points! Well done to you all!

Scouting the Zoom gallery there was an incredible display of armchair grooving, as ever, during our music round. A special mention must go out to Ioanna from Harley Street Pagination; you very definitely had the best moves but sadly on this occasion there was no prize for dancing…

However, our quizzers certainly rose to the challenge in the hat department, and we were delighted to announce Michelle from Livin Covid A Loca (3PB) as our ‘Queen of Hats’, for donning a really wonderful crown for the evening.

Thanks to your generosity and support, we managed to raise an incredible £1073.06!  This money is greatly appreciated and will enable us to continue supporting people affected by brain injury across Salisbury and South Wiltshire during these challenging times.

Many thanks must go to Hannah Carr, who took her seat as Quiz Master once again, sporting a different hat for every round.  We would also like to extend a massive thank you to our quiz partners in crime, 3PB, for all their support throughout the evening, and during the preparation for the quiz; we couldn’t have done this without you.
